This case showcases a modern-style whole-house customization project—let’s explore it together with the BOSNIE editorial team!
To prevent monotony and visual fatigue that may arise from an all-light-color scheme throughout the home, the soft furnishings feature thoughtful pairings of dark and vibrant hues—such as a black ‘elephant-leg’ chair, a sunset-orange accent armchair, and a rug accented with black geometric motifs.

High-capacity storage cabinets keep homes with children effortlessly tidy; the handleless cabinet doors enhance visual continuity, making the units appear seamlessly integrated into the wall. A sculptural floor lamp adds a gentle, poetic touch to quiet evenings—reading or reflecting beneath its glow becomes a moment of self-care.

In the master bedroom—where both partners have extensive wardrobes—we installed a full-height, floor-to-ceiling linear wardrobe spanning the entire wall, offering storage capacity comparable to a walk-in closet. Its interior uses hanging storage instead of traditional stacking, enabling greater convenience and accommodating future bedding for children.

The kitchen features an L-shaped layout, maximizing cabinet space wherever possible. From left to right, it supports the essential workflow of washing, prepping, and cooking—ensuring clean, intuitive movement.
To the right of the kitchen entrance, a refrigerator is seamlessly recessed into a custom high cabinet, precisely sized and styled to fit flush. Additional storage cabinets sit atop the refrigerator. For upper cabinets, pull-out baskets are incorporated internally for easy access—no stepping required.

After dry-wet separation, the primary bathroom accommodates a 1.7-meter freestanding bathtub. The shower is recessed into the ceiling, while the toilet area occupies the opposite end of the tub. Wall and floor tiles are unified in tone and texture—featuring a matte, concrete-inspired finish that reinforces spatial cohesion.

A long, recessed niche is carved into the wall thickness: in the bathtub zone, it stores bath essentials; in the toilet zone, it holds tissue boxes. Integrated warm-toned LED lighting lends atmospheric depth to the soft steam.

Adjacent to the balcony’s entry door, an irregularly shaped full-length mirror offers a convenient spot to check one’s appearance before entering or leaving—and subtly enhances the spatial character.

Viewing from the living room into the dining area, the same crisp, uncluttered aesthetic continues. A dark-toned dining table serves as the visual anchor of this space.
On the left sits a compact housekeeping cabinet equipped with a pegboard for neatly storing robotic vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and handheld vacuums.
A steam-oven and convection oven are recessed into the right side of the cabinet; the remaining sections provide ample dining storage. The cabinet’s mid-section is left open to serve as a Western-style countertop—ideal for displaying art or, later, housing small appliances.

The child’s room embraces a cocooning layout to foster a sense of security, with a low-profile bed designed for comfort and accessibility. As the male homeowner works remotely, this desk currently serves his needs—and will transition to the child’s study space in the future. Beside it stands a dedicated wardrobe sized to accommodate the child’s growing wardrobe.

That concludes our presentation of this modern-style whole-house customization project. If you enjoyed it, feel free to leave a comment for the BOSNIE editorial team!
