This case introduces a Japanese-style, whole-house design project. Let’s take a look at it together!
In the living room, after carefully considering spatial order and functional needs, the exterior safety railings were removed, and the wall between the dining area and the living room was opened up to create a seamless, integrated space. The resulting open vistas and fluid circulation paths generate overlapping lines of sight.

In the bedroom, simple materials underscore the rich warmth of the walnut‑toned surfaces, counterbalancing the serene, pure glow of the light as it invites one to drift into nighttime dreams. The walls are finished with paint—clean, inviting, yet far from monotonous.

In the bathroom, the purity of texture reflects a steadfast commitment to design. While a brilliant yellow might once have seemed unattainable, here a soft creamy hue paired with skin‑like white cultivates a sense of warmth and comfort in the bathing space.

The dining area adheres to a clear spatial hierarchy, employing three‑dimensional storage cabinets to organize items within each functional zone, achieving a balanced proportion between display and storage.

At the entryway, the newly refined foyer is interconnected with the kitchen, each space complementing and enriching the other. The processes of changing, retrieving, storing, and cooking are choreographed along distinct yet harmonious circulation paths.

That concludes our introduction to this Japanese‑style, whole‑house design project. If you’re interested, feel free to leave us a comment and join the conversation!
