Whole-House Design Case | Hu Jing: Clean, Tidy, and Yet Sophisticated and Grand

This project showcases a minimalist‑style, whole‑house design. Let’s take a look together! This case showcases a minimalist, whole‑home design. Let’s take a look together!

The living room is primarily gray and white, accented with wood grain tones, creating a clean, tidy yet sophisticated and elegant atmosphere.

The living room has been seamlessly connected to the balcony, incorporating the balcony space into the living area to expand the usable floor space and enhance the openness of the entire room. Wooden elements are featured on both sides of the living room; at first glance, the distinction is hardly noticeable.

The master bedroom features a bold red-and-green color scheme, with herringbone-patterned flooring and walls painted in alternating shades of red and green. The curtains also adopt a patchwork design that echoes the wall colors.

A girl’s room doesn’t have to be all pink—this space uses a warm ginger-yellow paired with creamy white. The walls feature a two-tone color scheme, replacing bulky, expensive wainscoting; the combination of these two hues feels both cozy and refreshing.

The kitchen is predominantly white, featuring jazz-white tiles for a clean and sophisticated look.

The bathroom retains a dry–wet separation design: the dry zone boasts a white lacquered basin, a white quartzite countertop, and a mirrored cabinet, while the wet zone includes a wall-mounted toilet, a bidet sprayer, and a shower enclosure. The walls feature a two-tone design with white and green feather‑patterned tiles, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing, layered effect.

The dining area integrates a dining table, a kitchen island, and a Western-style kitchen. A sideboard was custom-made to match the refrigerator’s dimensions, providing additional storage while allowing the fridge to be built-in—a neat and stylish solution.

That concludes our introduction to this minimalist whole-house design project. If you like it, feel free to leave us a comment!
