This project showcases a whole-house design in the modern minimalist style—let’s explore this BOSNIE case study together!
The living room’s backdrop cabinet features a ‘floating design,’ where interlocking volumes create a sense of ‘separation without opacity’—balancing visual lightness with practical storage. Openings on both sides of the backdrop establish a continuous circulation path, enhancing airflow and visual transparency.

A gentle beam of light glides across the dining table and chairs; the wall’s intentional blank space acts like a canvas, allowing light and shadow to freely dance across it through lush greenery. Warm wood—crafted with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery—interlaces and interlocks with sintered stone panels, redefining material connections in the home and highlighting nature’s quiet serenity.

The kitchen suffered from poor natural lighting and limited space; we removed a partition wall to open it up to the dining area, thereby bringing in additional daylight.

The bedroom design centers on simplicity and softness. Integrated LED strips within the upholstered bedhead panel emit light horizontally and vertically, filling the space with gentle illumination. This interplay of light and shadow softens spatial boundaries, cultivating a tranquil, soothing sanctuary for the mind.

That concludes our presentation of this modern minimalist whole-house design case. If you enjoyed it, feel free to leave a comment for BOSNIE’s editorial team!
