This case presents a modern, light-luxury whole‑home design. The understated yet luxurious style emphasizes simplicity in the hard furnishings, yet avoids the casualness of pure minimalism. Beneath its seemingly uncomplicated exterior lies a subtle air of refined elegance, often brought to life through carefully selected soft décor elements. The goal is to create a comfortable, airy, and functionally well‑organized space, imbuing the entire home with a bright, serene, and graceful beauty. Now, let’s take a closer look at this project together with BOSNIE!
In the living room, the TV backdrop and wine cabinet are flush with the sofa‑back wall, ensuring a seamless visual surface and enhancing the square‑shape feel of the two main rooms. The kitchen door’s wall was too thick, so it was partially demolished and rebuilt as a thinner partition, expanding the kitchen space. Two glass doors were installed to boost transparency, while the dining table and island are centered to maintain smooth circulation. The Western kitchen is aligned flush with the kitchen entrance.

In the bedroom, a full‑width display cabinet is built to the right of the bed, with concealed LED strips that echo the ceiling’s lighting. A floor‑to‑ceiling wardrobe spans the head of the bed; to hide the side panels, the wall was extended to align perfectly with them, keeping the wardrobe fully integrated and preserving the room’s clean lines, while also allowing for switch plates on the wall.

The children’s room combines pale blue with gray and white, featuring low‑saturation warm and cool tones complemented by soft, eye‑friendly lighting, creating a secure and restful sleep environment. A minimalist wall‑side desk provides a quiet study area, while wall art and rugs—paired with other soft furnishings—add distinct character and transform the overall living experience.

Following the owner’s request, the original guest room was converted into a study. To improve natural light in the hallway, the original doorway was widened and fitted with sliding doors. For privacy, frosted vertical‑grain glass was chosen—translucent yet non‑transparent—creating a space that is both functional and thoughtfully designed for everyday living.

That concludes our introduction to this modern light-luxury style whole-house design case. If you enjoyed it, feel free to leave a comment and interact with BOSNIE!
