This case showcases a full‑house design in the New Chinese style. Let’s take a look together!
Stepping into the living room, one is greeted by a simple, serene, and refined atmosphere—elegant yet light. The harmonious blend of traditional Chinese elements with modern materials was precisely what ultimately convinced the homeowners to choose this designer.

A meticulous landscape painting, a rustic wooden backdrop partition, and a sky-gray fabric sofa—on the marble coffee table sits an essential oil lamp, accompanied by a few cups of tea, creating an utterly leisurely ambiance.

On one side of the living room, the former kitchen has been transformed into a staircase leading to the second floor. Its bright, contemporary design is a delight to behold: natural wood steps, transparent glass handrails, and white storage cabinets below—all of which banish the old‑fashioned feel of traditional Chinese staircases while providing ample storage space.

Even more cleverly, the staircase splits in the middle, allowing users to take either the left or right path—one leading directly to the bedroom, the other straight to the cozy balcony, making it both practical and intriguing.

The kitchen has been relocated from its original position near the staircase to the dining area along the window side, incorporating part of the south-facing balcony and part of the dining space. This clever reconfiguration effectively addresses issues of lighting and ventilation. A lightweight glass sliding door separates the kitchen from the dining area, ensuring that the dining space remains fully bathed in natural light.

The portion of the south-facing balcony connected to the master bedroom has been designed as a tatami area, complete with a height‑adjustable small square table, offering both storage and relaxation in one.

That concludes our introduction to this full‑home design in the New Chinese style. If you like it, feel free to leave us a comment!
