This project showcases a whole-house design in the modern minimalist style—let’s explore this BOSNIE case study together!
The homeowner’s primary requirement was to draw attention to each artwork in the living room. Track lighting installed on the ceiling serves both functional illumination and creates linear visual accents within the space. The furniture selection complements the modern gallery ambiance—clean, geometric, and understated—ensuring it never overshadows the art.

The dining area features a fusion of Eastern and Western elements, combining an island countertop with a traditional Chinese dining table. Its material selection echoes the design of the living room and entryway, while also enhancing the functionality of the Chinese kitchen and serving as a Western-style cooking space.

Passing through the corridor into the banquet hall, the segmented yet cohesive wall design eliminates the lack of privacy typically associated with corridors while preserving visual openness. Vertical doors and a horizontal L-shaped corner window define and enclose the space. The overall color scheme—accented with vibrant reds in contrast to the adjacent Western-style kitchen—energizes the gathering atmosphere, while the kitchen’s understated green tones emphasize refined quality. Thoughtful window placement also frames the outdoor landscaping for optimal viewing.

The bedroom features minimalist soft furnishings—no elaborate decorative elements, just a simple flat ceiling paired with everyday essentials. This understated design approach creates an exceptionally clean and uncluttered space, delivering a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for the homeowner.

The bathroom features a serene, harmonious green color scheme throughout, with windows offering panoramic views of the courtyard.

That concludes our presentation of this modern minimalist whole-house design case. If you enjoyed it, feel free to leave a comment for BOSNIE’s editorial team!
