This project showcases a whole-house design in the New Chinese style—join BOSNIE’s editorial team to explore this case.
The living room exudes clean, elegant simplicity. Its modern design harmonizes seamlessly with Chinese-inspired décor—mountains shrouded in mist frame a subtle ‘Zen’ motif, while natural wood furniture is accentuated by crisp white accents, creating a warm yet refined atmosphere where tranquility arises naturally.

The kitchen continues the home’s cohesive design language: serif typography evokes Chinese aesthetics, while modern elements are expressed through a sophisticated black-and-white palette—warm natural wood and rich brown tones weave effortlessly throughout, enhancing visual harmony without disruption. Integrated storage cabinets maximize space efficiency while adding everyday convenience.

One space, two styles, three moods—separated by glass to allow modern minimalism to flow freely. Two gilded lines define the spatial division, while twin peonies bloom gracefully in mirrored surfaces, outlined with delicate gold-trimmed serifs. Like blossoms embodying feminine grace and jade symbolizing masculine strength, they reflect beautifully within the composition.

Decorative elements—including a traditional multi-tiered display cabinet, dark-toned wooden furniture, minimalist black-and-white accent lighting, classical Chinese landscape paintings, and warm-hued floor tiles—blend thoughtfully with contemporary furnishings. This synthesis of ancient sensibility and modern restraint quietly conveys Zen-like serenity and minimalist elegance, ultimately expressing the warmth and soul of home.

That concludes our showcase of this whole-house customization project in the New Chinese style. If you enjoyed it, feel free to leave a comment for BOSNIE’s editorial team!
