This project showcases a full‑house design for a compact apartment, proving that even small spaces can achieve the same sense of lifestyle and sophistication as larger homes. Beyond its refined aesthetic, this home exudes a cool, contemporary vibe—grounded in modern interior style yet infused with bold American‑inspired lines and vibrant color contrasts. It even boldly incorporates industrial elements, elevating the overall decor to new heights while balancing individuality with understated elegance. Let’s take a closer look at this inspiring case together!

The doorway between the dining area and the entryway hallway has been opened up, allowing natural light to flood near the front door and improving ventilation and lighting. The L‑shaped kitchen cabinets cleverly make use of corner space; on the left side of the sink stands a tall cabinet that doubles as a custom-built refrigerator. When the door is opened, it reveals a built‑in fridge compartment, offering a sleek, high‑end look and excellent visual cohesion.

Although the kitchen cabinets provide relatively limited workspace, they’re perfectly adequate for the single female homeowner, who can easily prepare simple meals on a daily basis.

View from the dining area toward the balcony: A matte black lacquered table and chairs are centered, while a wall of white cabinets seamlessly blends into the surrounding white walls, creating a clean, sophisticated, and spacious dining space. The darker tones help anchor the overall palette, and paired with the slender framed glass doors on the right, the design achieves clear layering and striking contrast. In the distance, the balcony has been transformed into a cozy, romantic tea bar.

In the bedroom area, a dark accent wall contrasts sharply with the adjacent white wall.

When the camera pans to the angle shown above, the ingenious aspects of this design truly come to light.

From different vantage points, this home reveals distinct styles: standing at the foot of the bed and snapping a quick photo gives the impression of a bright, fresh Nordic‑inspired space.

Though the bathroom is a windowless one, it’s still quite spacious. To the left of the vanity, there’s room reserved for a refrigerator, and an integrated washer‑dryer unit is built in, freeing up valuable drying space on the balcony.

That wraps up our presentation of this compact‑apartment design. If you enjoyed it, feel free to leave us a comment and share your thoughts!
