Entrance Foyer From the entrance, the dining area and living room feature different flooring materials to clearly delineate the spaces. Since it’s an open‑concept kitchen, the kitchen and dining floors are finished with the same tile. Along the hallway, the walls are clad in wainscoting that seamlessly integrates with the doors, ensuring a unified material palette.
Living Room The TV backdrop is crafted from slab‑style stone. In the guest room, the entire floor has been raised and extends beneath the TV to form a platform. A storage cabinet flanks the TV, offering a convenient spot for everyday living‑room essentials. The brass‑toned stainless steel detail on the TV wall was deliberately incorporated to disrupt its otherwise rigid geometry.
The living room’s color scheme centers on black paired with stainless‑steel‑tone panels. Even the window surrounds are wrapped in 1‑cm‑thick fluorocarbon‑painted stainless steel, lending the space a sleek, sophisticated air.
Behind the sofa, a 2x2 grid of black‑painted louvers creates the backdrop. The artful wall hanging was custom‑designed and then produced by a manufacturer using stainless steel; once installed, it evokes the look of a traffic mirror.
Cabinets line both side walls of the dining area. Near the entry, a water dispenser is discreetly concealed, and the video doorbell is tucked away inside the cabinetry, keeping the overall surface clean and uncluttered.
Dining at this table allows for easy interaction with the kitchen, which boasts a spacious island that makes cooking efficient and enjoyable, far from a chore. The dining chandelier consists of six independent fixtures; their positions and heights were carefully determined during ceiling installation, with the wiring neatly integrated within.
The wine cabinet is divided into three distinct zones—storage, display, and placement—to accommodate wines of varying types.
A low beam runs across the kitchen ceiling. Given the room’s modest height, rather than leveling the ceiling to follow the beam’s lowest point, we clad it in mirrored stainless steel; the finished result feels entirely harmonious.
Master Bedroom Continuing the design language of the public areas, the master bedroom features a background wall composed of mixed‑finish grilles paired with terrazzo panels. A secondary walk‑in closet accommodates frequently changed but less often laundered items.
Children’s Room Taking advantage of the apartment’s elongated layout, the children’s room arranges sleeping, LEGO‑playing, wardrobe, and desk areas in sequence. The walls are paneled with contrasting fabric upholstery.
Bathroom Behind the wall‑mounted toilet, the vanity base is set back by 15 cm, making the mirror cabinet appear as if it’s embedded in the wall and enhancing the sense of tidiness. The custom‑made wide‑slot one‑piece sink perfectly complements the bathroom’s aesthetic.
By filtering out the city’s noise and dispelling life’s restlessness, we discover that living isn’t just about reaching distant horizons; it’s about fulfilling our boundless dreams right at home and savoring the endless joys of ordinary days—the true essence of life.
