Contemporary urban dwellers have adopted a fresh perspective on home and life. They place greater emphasis on their innermost aspirations for family, refusing to follow the crowd and seeking a sanctuary in the heart of the city—a place where they can settle both body and mind and comfortably embrace a carefree, spontaneous way of living. Modern style does not mean stripping everything down to the bare minimum; rather, it embodies a yearning for simplicity, a lifestyle ethos, and a distinctive aesthetic that rejects excess.
In this project, while staying true to the core principles of modern design, we have drawn deeply from the subtle elegance and serene tranquility ingrained in the spirit of Jiangnan’s water towns. From color palettes and materials to meticulous details, our approach takes root in contemporary China, resonating with the cultural context of the East, and striving to uncover and reveal the broader, more profound dimensions of the modern aesthetic.
