This case showcases a modern-style whole-house customization project—let’s explore it together with the BOSNIE editorial team!
The living room is relatively long, so a multifunctional small tea table was added near the window—ideal for accompanying children in crafts or hosting a few friends for board games.

The wall-mounted decorative spheres are playfully named 'Escape Artists.' Each lively sphere appears to leap from the sofa to the tea table, subtly shifting the family’s interactive focus while seamlessly connecting the two functional areas.

For color coordination across the entire public space, we selected a deeper wall hue for the south-facing area—where natural light is abundant—while opting for a shade one tone lighter for the central corridor and north-facing zone, where lighting is less generous. Remarkably, once the paint was applied on-site, the north and south spaces appeared visually identical under natural light.

The kitchen and dining area were opened up to create a more expansive visual impression and enhance brightness. A three-panel sliding door was installed at the junction between the dining area and the public space, allowing the kitchen to function as a fully enclosed zone when desired.

The original windows were replaced with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, optimizing circulation flow and significantly improving spatial openness and transparency.
A custom bookshelf was designed for effortless access to books, extending all the way to the headboard—doubling as a built-in bed backrest. Though compact, the design delivers strong visual cohesion.

Following the renovation, the room features warm-toned wooden flooring accented with white trim, enhancing perceived spaciousness and brightness. For the daughter’s bedroom, soft pink serves as the base color, carefully balanced with deep brown and black-and-white checkered patterns to reduce saturation—ensuring timeless appeal across her childhood years.

That concludes our presentation of this modern-style whole-house customization project. If you enjoyed it, feel free to leave a comment for the BOSNIE editorial team!
