This case introduces a modern minimalist whole-house design. Let’s take a look at it together with BOSNIE!
We integrated the entryway and dining area into one open space. On lower floors, even the smallest architectural element can diminish the precious natural light. After demolition, we softened the concept of the foyer while adding a standalone shoe-changing bench, an entryway cabinet, a full-length mirror for getting ready, and a spacious shoe storage unit—balancing functionality with the preservation of abundant daylight.

In the living room, we eschewed all wall treatments, opting instead for the simplest finish: white latex paint. This light-colored surface refracts and channels the limited light into the dimly lit dining area. In the overall interior design, we also abandoned rigid symmetry, embracing asymmetry to enrich the color palette and deepen the visual impact. By toning down stylistic constraints, we prioritized a cozy, lived-in atmosphere.

The blue and purple sofa injects a modern sensibility into what could otherwise feel overly retro, creating a space that naturally invites relaxation.

We slightly partitioned the passageway between the dining area and the shoe cabinet, subtly separating the two while avoiding the awkwardness of the shoe cabinet directly facing the dining table.

In the kitchen, a simple black-and-white palette lends the space a clean, orderly appearance. The door leading to the utility balcony accommodates laundry appliances on either side, while outdoor greenery draws the eye into the kitchen, infusing routine tasks with a sense of vitality.

In the bathroom, we eliminated the shower function, focusing instead on providing ample storage for the homeowner’s makeup and daily essentials, and replacing the shower with a dual-sink vanity.

In the study, we incorporated extensive storage solutions, giving a proper place to previously cluttered items and adding numerous bookcases so that books once relegated to storage boxes can now be displayed and appreciated.

That concludes our introduction to this modern minimalist whole-house design project. If you enjoyed it, feel free to leave a comment and interact with BOSNIE!
