The living room serves as one of the primary hubs for family life—hosting daily activities such as relaxation, entertainment, gatherings, and dining—while also functioning as a social space for receiving guests and engaging with the outside world. As the heart of domestic life and the home’s foremost social interface, it stands at the center of residential space and acts as a window to the exterior.
Consequently, living room renovation is a focal point of the entire home renovation project. With the television feature wall serving as a key design element, other areas can adopt simpler decorative treatments. Yet the sofa in the guest reception zone plays a pivotal role: its form and color directly shape the living room’s overall aesthetic. The television feature wall—designed as a highlight of the residence—incorporates gypsum board, latex paint, and striped wallpaper, using understated materials to evoke a contemporary spatial sensibility.
